Finca Steller: Children’s Eternal Rainforest (only 5 min away from the lodge by walk!): The entrance is a good place to check for sloths, up to 5km of trails, moderate hike, secondary forest at a 600mts (1968 ft) elevation, with a big Ceiba Tree, a nice viewpoint for the northern lowlands and a small creek (we call it cold jacuzzi, so take your swimming suits for a fresh jump!). This forest is home to the smallest of the Motmots.

Finca Luna Nueva: An excellent location for birding! Here we will birdwatch from a Bamboo Tower!

Arenal Volcano Birding Hotspot: A full-day experience is 1.5 hours away from the house, at the Observatory, where we will see birds on feeders, gardens & forest.

Quetzals & Hummingbirds Highlands Experience: On this expedition we go searching for the Resplendent Quetzal and other highlands species.

King Vulture Photography Hide: We drive north the country for 1.5 hours off the beaten track of the common tourism to go & see the majesty of this incredible bird behind a hide.

Night Walks: A nighttime exploration! Discover the wildlife in an extraordinary way, during the night other creatures are awake, such as frogs, snakes, insects, there is a chance of seeing mammals and sleeping birds too.

Children’s Eternal Rainforest: One of the most biodiverse places on earth, a hotspot on eBird with +400 different species of birds.
